Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and technically sound
Proposals Engineer - Sales
who will act as the bridge between our sales, design, and engineering teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for understanding customer requirements, developing solution-oriented proposals, and driving the technical-commercial proposal lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Engage with customers to understand technical cleaning/surface treatment requirements.
Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to develop customized equipment solutions.
Prepare technical and commercial proposals, cost estimations, and detailed specifications.
Interpret RFQs, RFPs, and tender documents accurately.
Present proposals and solutions to clients in a clear, value-driven manner.
Support sales team in technical discussions, site visits, and customer meetings.
Maintain proposal database, costing sheets, and standard documents.
Coordinate internal review and approval processes for proposals.
Support negotiations and order finalization in alignment with company goals.
Required Qualifications and Skills
B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related engineering field.
2-5 years of experience in proposal engineering, technical sales, or application engineering for capital equipment (preferably in customized systems).
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, industrial automation, or ultrasonic/parts cleaning processes (preferred).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work cross-functionally with design, production, and sales teams.
Strong analytical and costing skills.
Proficiency in MS Office; experience with AutoCAD/SolidWorks is a plus.
