URGENT HIRING || Proposal Engineer || Pune

Profile- Proposal Engineer

Experience- 1+ years

Ctc- upto 5 lpa (depends on interview)

Working Days- 6 days ( 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM)

Location: Pune

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Environmental, Civil, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering. 1-3 years + of experience in proposal engineering for (STP ,ETP, WTP, Ro) or water/wastewater treatment systems. Familiarity with tendering processes in public and private sectors (CPWD, PWD, Municipal Corporations, Industrial clients) Knowledge of treatment technologies like MBBR, SBR, MBR, RO, UF, etc.
Job Purpose:

To prepare technically and commercially viable proposals for (STP ,ETP, WTP, Ro) projects by analyzing client requirements, preparing design solutions, costing, and coordinating with internal teams to submit winning bids and tenders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Proposal Preparation:

Analyze client tender documents and identify scope, technical specifications, and compliance requirements. Prepare technical proposals for STP/ETP projects including process flow diagrams, treatment technology selection, and capacity calculations. Draft BOQ (Bill of Quantities), P&IDs, and general arrangement drawings in coordination with design engineers.
2. Cost Estimation & Budgeting:

Prepare detailed cost estimates including equipment, civil work, piping, instrumentation, and installation. Obtain vendor quotes and assess subcontractor pricing to ensure competitive bids. Conduct techno-commercial evaluations to optimize design and pricing.
3. Technical Coordination:

Liaise with process, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation teams for input on designs and layouts. Coordinate with procurement and project execution teams for technical clarifications and feasibility checks.
4. Client Interaction:

Attend pre-bid meetings and client discussions to gather inputs and clarify scope. Support business development team during technical presentations and negotiations.
5. Documentation:

Prepare all required proposal documents including datasheets, compliance matrices, technical write-ups, and design justifications Maintain a library of standard documents, pricing sheets, and vendor databases.
Skills & Competencies:

Strong understanding of wastewater treatment processes and equipment. Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and ERP/project costing tools. Good written and verbal communication for client interaction. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple proposals under tight deadlines.
