Qualification: Diploma or BE in Mechanical, Production or chemical or Bsc/Msc Chemistry
Experience: 2 to 4 yrs exp in Estimation & Proposal preparation experience from structural fabrication, Fabrication project, Cooling tower manufacturing industries
Work location: Swargate in Pune
Job profile:
Review customer inquiries, specifications, and tender documents to understand scope and requirements.
Prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals, including cost estimates, technical data sheets, and compliance statements.
Coordinate with design, production, and procurement teams to obtain input on materials, manufacturing timelines, and costs.
Develop cost estimation models covering materials, labour, machining, assembly, testing, and logistics.
Ensure proposals comply with company standards and customer specifications.
Support sales team during technical discussions, negotiations, and client meetings.
Maintain and update proposal templates, pricing databases, and costing tools.
Track submitted proposals, follow up on approvals, and assist in project handover once orders are won.
Support marketing and product development teams by providing feedback from customer requirements and trends.
Key skills:
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and equipment.
Familiarity with engineering drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and costing methods.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). experience with ERP systems preferred.
Desired profile of the candidate:
1) Male/Female, Age: 25 to 40 yrs., should be well versed with Auto CAD/ZW Cad & MS Office i.e. word, Excel, Power Point etc. The candidate worked with Engineering Co. will be preferred.
2) Should be conversant with operating resent versions of Auto CAD.
3) Having worked with Engineering Industry.
4) Fluency in English
