Role Overview:

We are seeking a

highly competent and detail-oriented Proposal Maker

with

3-4 years of professional experience

in the

interior design and civil construction domain

. The incumbent will play a critical role in the development of project proposals, cost estimations, tender documentation, and budget planning for luxury residential and commercial projects.
The position demands an individual with a strong foundation in

civil and architectural disciplines

, comprehensive knowledge of

materials, BOQ preparation, tendering processes

, and a deep understanding of

execution standards in premium design and build projects

. The role also involves extensive coordination with internal departments, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure the seamless alignment of design intent, cost accuracy, and delivery excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed

technical and commercial proposals

for luxury interior and architectural projects based on drawings, conceptual designs, and client requirements. Conduct thorough analysis of

tender documents, GFC drawings, and specifications

to develop accurate cost estimates and BOQs. Formulate

Bills of Quantities (BOQ)

for both interior and civil works, ensuring precision, clarity, and adherence to project scope. Collaborate with design, procurement, and execution teams to compile comprehensive project proposals with accurate cost and technical data. Source, evaluate, and finalize

vendor quotations

, ensuring materials and finishes align with project quality and brand standards. Coordinate with subcontractors and consultants for scope finalization, cost validation, and compliance with technical specifications. Assist in

value engineering exercises

to achieve cost efficiency without compromising design or quality benchmarks. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of

market rates, material trends, and construction techniques

relevant to luxury interiors and civil works. Oversee and certify

subcontractor Running Account (RA) bills

in coordination with the project management and finance teams. Develop and maintain a comprehensive

database of materials, vendors, and standard cost benchmarks

for continuous improvement of estimation accuracy. Prepare periodic

cost reports, variance analyses, and financial summaries

for management review. Ensure all proposals and documentation meet the organization's standards of precision, presentation, and professionalism. Contribute proactively to the

proposal development strategy

Desired Candidate Profile:

Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture from a reputed institution.

Experience:

3-4 years of experience in proposal preparation, cost estimation, and tender documentation within the

luxury interiors and civil construction

sector. Strong command over

AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software/tools.

Deep understanding of

interior and architectural detailing, materials, and finishes

used in high-end projects. Proficient in interpreting design drawings, specifications, and technical documentation. Thorough knowledge of

MEP integration, fire safety layouts, and on-site execution processes.

Excellent analytical, numerical, and organizational skills with a high level of accuracy. Strong communication and coordination abilities to liaise effectively with design, procurement, and client teams. Professional demeanor, integrity, and the ability to represent the brand in alignment with its luxury ethos. Demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects and deliverables under tight timelines while maintaining superior quality standards.
