Hiring for Proof readers for a leading renowned publishing house

Must have experience as Proof reader in publishing house preferred

He will be responsible for the final quality check of written content before publication, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to style guidelines. They meticulously review text for errors in grammar, spelling, punctuation, formatting, and consistency. Key Responsibilities:

Careful Review:

Thoroughly examine manuscripts, proofs, and other content for any errors in grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting.

Consistency Check:

Ensure consistency in style, language, and formatting throughout the document.

Adherence to Guidelines:

Follow established style guides and editorial guidelines.

Error Correction:

Identify and correct errors, including typographical mistakes, inconsistencies in wording, and incorrect page numbers.

Collaboration:

Work with writers and editors to refine content and ensure accuracy.

Proofreading Tools:

Utilize proofreading tools to mark up digital content and track changes.

Technical Skills:
