The Project Area Sales Manager is responsible for driving project-based sales of building materials and interior-related products. The role includes developing strong relationships with architects, interior designers, engineers, project managers, and key decision-makers in the construction ecosystem. The ideal candidate will manage the entire project sales cycle--from lead identification to project closure--while ensuring customer satisfaction and contributing to the growth of Lazerlite's wholesale and project business.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Business Growth
Develop and implement sales strategies to meet assigned revenue and growth targets.
Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities in the construction and interiors industry.
Tune in and support Lazerlite's wholesale team as part of cross-functional business growth.
Client Acquisition & Engagement
Identify, meet, and engage with potential clients and key influencers including architects, interior designers, site engineers, and project managers.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, product demos, and proposals.
Provide technical product knowledge and recommend the most suitable building materials based on project requirements.
Project Management
Manage and coordinate client projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely execution.
Collaborate with logistics, marketing, customer service, and internal teams for seamless project handling.
Maintain accurate project pipelines and ensure timely updates on progress.
Relationship Building
Develop strong, long-term relationships with clients, fabricators, contractors, and industry partners.
Conduct and participate in in-house architect meets, fabricator meets, and other engagement events, including budgeting for such programs.
Negotiation & Sales Closure
Negotiate commercial terms and close sales deals with a focus on profitability and customer satisfaction.
Ensure customers receive a smooth experience from inquiry to final delivery.
Reporting & Documentation
Prepare and submit timely reports, including:
Sales plan
Daily Call Report (DCR)
Project pipeline
Tour plan
Project status report
Competitor mapping
Maintain updated knowledge of industry trends, competitor products, and evolving building material technologies.
Travel Requirements
Travel for client meetings, site visits, architect interactions, and project follow-ups with prior approvals.

Pay: ₹21,231.56 - ₹40,000.00 per month
