Brief Description about the Project

The research project is a randomised control trial of patients admitted in the ICU requiring mechanical ventilation and neuromuscular blocker infusion.

Patient's in the intervention group will receive reversal agent and control group will receive placebo

The study outcome is to compare the duration of ventilation support between the intervention and control group.

Patients will be monitored for Train of Four response and for development of ICU acquired weakness.

Preferred Qualifications:

BSc Nursing /

Diploma in Nursing with 2 years of experience/Graduate degree in Pharmacy with 1 year of experience.

Experience: P

reference will be given to the experience in ICU or Anaesthesia

Language:

English/ Telugu/Tamil/Kannada

Salary: Rs. 23,400/-per month

Age Limit: 28 Years

Location: Bangalore / Mysore

Roles and Responsibilities:

Will assist the Site Physician in screening, recruitment and follow up of participants. Also will oversee the study related activities conducted at other participating sites. Responsible for overall recruitment, follow up data quality, and site close out and archival of study documents at central office. Will also be involved in on site monitoring of study progress, compliance to protocol and on site assistance with the study related procedures at other participating site.
