Identify and manage sales opportunities in government and public sector projects.
Handle tenders, pre-qualification documents, and bid submissions.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and government authorities.
Promote lighting solutions (indoor, outdoor, street lighting, facade, etc.).
Prepare techno-commercial proposals and follow up for approvals and orders.
Track projects from inquiry to award and support execution teams post-order.
Achieve assigned sales targets and maintain client relationships.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Engineering, Business, or related field.
3-5 years of experience in
project sales
, with
government project exposure
.
Lighting industry experience preferred
(LED, street lighting, architectural lighting).
Strong knowledge of government tendering procedures and documentation.
Good communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
Preferred
Experience with GEM portal / e-tendering platforms.
Existing contacts within government departments, consultants, or contractors.
