Qualifications & Experience:
ADIS (Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety)
from a recognized institution.
Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related technical discipline will be an added advantage.
Minimum 2 years
of progressive experience in HSE roles within
construction
or related fields.
Strong knowledge of
Construction Safety, Environmental Safety, and Occupational Health & Safety regulations
, including applicable statutory and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities (HSE Lead / Senior Role)
Lead the
implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement
of HSE policies, procedures, and Safety Management Plans across multiple project locations.
Oversee and guide daily site safety inspections to ensure full compliance with construction, environmental, and statutory safety standards.
Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and ensure timely closure of corrective and preventive actions.
Plan, conduct, and review
internal and external HSE audits
, hazard identification exercises, and risk assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of control measures.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to site safety officers and junior HSE staff.
Coordinate and drive
safety awareness initiatives
, including toolbox talks, emergency drills, safety campaigns, and site-based training programs.
Liaise with project managers, engineers, contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure alignment with HSE objectives.
Ensure proper maintenance of
HSE documentation
,
permits, inspection records,
non-compliance reports
, and regulatory submissions.
