OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

• Secure that suppliers QCD performances are in line with objectives for defined project(s).
• Material work package owner for the assigned projects.
• Main interface between projects, procurement and engineering.
• Drive localization in overall and monitor & Improve the BCC%.
• Drive development of India supplier strategy.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Manage the sourcing activity of the Project

• Ensure that the overall QCD target of the WP material under his responsibility is met

• Participate to the project management committee

• Encompass PSCL output in the overall picture of the project (availability of the purchaser requests on time and on quality for take-over by the buyers, availability of the material for the 1st train, consolidation of the logistic conditions)

2. Communicate project needs and ensures they are properly taken into account

• Organize launch meeting towards TSS and Dom

• Challenge new gaps compared to tender commitments, incorporates Return on Experience, escalate if any critical delay is occurring in specification availability, facilitates co-operation between Engineering and Sourcing, ask for arbitration in case of conflict

• Publish the specific legal requirements to be taken into account in negotiation, after analysis of the customer specific demand and after decision with the PM to flow down (or not) these requirements to the suppliers

3. Define and implement the Project Procurment Strategy in full respect of QCD commitments

• Establish and agree with the PM on a Project Sourcing Strategy (if not done at Tender stage), in line Platform procurment strategy (panel, LCC objectives, dual sources...)

• Animates supplier selection through Business Award process, asks for arbitration when relevant

• Based on SSM, buyer, SPQD output, supervises contracts execution of selected suppliers until FAI milestone

4. Manage the Material Work Package

• Review periodically the QCD material scope (Work packages) with the stakeholders, establish a robust \xe2\x80\x9cat completion\xe2\x80\x9d vision, taken into account risks, ambitions and incertitudes

• Establish bridge analysis at each SPR cycle

5. Drive Localization & on time realization of savings actions.

• Defining sustaining supplier NRC for the annual budget and managing the track on spending the NRCs.

• Cost monitoring and follow-up on BCC % and drive India supplier sourcing strategy.

• Consolidation and Manage the all the localization ideas in the tracker for status update with CFT.

• Driving localization meeting with CFT PREM DA/BLR Engineering/Supplier/Buyer/PPM.

• Localization roadmap follow-up which had been agreed with Platform

• Follow-up on CR approval and converging the savings for project value capture.

• Material cost and localization strategy for business case proposal for the new product.

EXPERIENCE / SKILL SET

• Manufacturing experience, preferably in the railway industry.
• Minimum 6 - 10years of experience (Project, Sourcing, Quality, Engineering)
• Language Skills: Proficient in English language
• IT Skills: MS office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
