Funding & Finance Technology
Finance and Funding Technology department at Morgan Stanley manages the funding for the firm while ensuring the firm has adequate liquidity for covering any liquidity risks. As a technology team, we build and own the products that are leveraged by Treasury for running stress simulations on firm positions across business units. We own multi-terabyte data warehouse and state of the art middle tier services that takes in the Firms global positions and processes through various Liquidity metrics calculation.

Job Profile
The ISG Cross Divisional Programs Group (XPG) is responsible for large technology & process change initiatives including MiFID II, Brexit and LIBOR Transition and is recruiting for an enthusiastic and delivery focused Test Analyst to join its India team with an initial focus on the EMIR Transaction Reporting Program.
The successful candidate will partner with numerous Operations and Technology departments, under the remit of 'Front to Back' testing to assist in the coordination and execution of the Delivery Testing at scale, in accordance with the business and technical strategy for the XPG department and broader IST division.
The role will incorporate planning of and coordination of testing through multiple systems, liaison with multiple development teams and oversight and reporting of test execution and risk.
Candidates will need to be comfortable working in a matrix style, as part of a relatively small central team, collaborating with Operations and Technology SMEs and project managers embedded in different departments and business units.
Job Duties:
Interpret the impact in terms of functional changes required and through analysis determine the likely testing approach and communicate to impacted Teams.
Assist the production of test plans and specifications with associated assumptions, dependencies, risks & issues.
Produce reports and communication artefacts for working groups and steering committees.
Track test execution status and progress and ensure smooth delivery into a front to back test environment.
Be responsible for, and the key contact of, one or more delivery groups across the program, reporting to local leadership.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with partners in Operations & Technology teams to assist in delivery completion.
Partner with Operations and Technology SMEs to define process change, technical design and architecture for a particular ecosystem.

Qualifications

Skill Set
Excellent track record of testing of complex projects and understanding of how to organize testing and planning for these deliveries.
Strong communication and networking skills.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Self-motivated individual and creative thinker who will take ownership of tasks and projects, able to work with the global team, and manage time and tasks effectively and independently.
Strong business knowledge of Systems Engineering and Quality Engineering practices.
Desired Skills:
Other financial services business knowledge.
Experience in managing the delivery of computer applications via established software development lifecycle models like Agile
Experience of project planning, delivery management and program management.
Experienced user of tools such as Excel, Visio, JIRA, JIVE, TWiki, Microsoft Project and Sharepoint.
