Summary

As Project Planning Specialist - Site Planning, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed construction schedules and daily/weekly/monthly look-ahead plans and forecasts in coordination with the site execution team, enabling the site execution team with right rigor and daily management around key site deliverables. Demonstrate unwavering commitment to safe work and EHS compliance at site, promote a culture of SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost...in that order) focus in all work engagements. Prepare and timely update L4 / L5 level schedules for various packages in a power plant (Turbine Island, FGD, ESP etc) with activities belonging to civil, mechanical, electrical, C&I and commissioning areas. Also to bring visibility around daily/monthly/quarterly/yearly targets and maintaining KPI files/dashboards showing and highlighting planned vs actual progress.



This role is Fixed Term Contract role for 1 Year.

Roles and

Responsibilities



Prepare site level Plan and budget of construction work in consultation with the PCCM, Site Manager and the project director. Provide inputs for site scope of work - for weekly/monthly operating rhythms and quarterly business reviews. Assist the Construction and Commissioning Managers with Resource Planning, give useful and timely insights to the site manager based on data analytics regarding areas requiring attention. Co-ordinate with civil, mechanical, and electrical leads for CTO, MHO, TOP dates, milestone completion commitments. Generate and circulate dashboard reports, time schedule reports identifying the delays, critical paths as per designated work instructions and formats. Capture lessons learnt, incorporate past lessons in the scheduling of future packages. Record relevant site level data including daily work register, chronology of events, monthly planned vs actual progress etc. Support the execution and contracts team in forensic delay analysis and claim resolutions with contractors, suppliers and customers. Coordinate with project planners and scheduling experts at HO for revisions, update of procedures, processes, and tools. Organize and conduct weekly meetings with contractors, capture key points of discussion and ensure to circulate applicable MOMs. Planning and Monitoring of Contract Closure activities including balance work as per customer and internal punch point list and signing of contract closure protocols with customer. Maintain updated Database for BOQ, progress, schedule, monthly operating plans and productivity for the entire project scope.

Key Performance Indicators



Adherence to agreed procedures for Site Planning and DMS. Site L4 schedule preparation, its revisions and updates. Time Schedule Reports including Deviation Reports, Slippage & Opportunity Reports, Status Say/do ratio as per target- for site level monthly rolling plans Maintaining Collaborative atmosphere with colleagues, contractors and customer and having an objective and problem solving mindset.

Qualification & Experience



Engineering degree from a recognized college / university with 5+ Years of relevant work experience in relevant field. Excellent command over MS office tools

Desired Skills:



Trained in Primavera P6 software, MSP tools. Good knowledge of power plant fundamentals Good interpersonal and responsive skills
