Educational Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech Civil) Diploma in Civil Engineering Professional certifications in project management (PMP, PRINCE2) would be an advantage
Experience Requirements

4-6 years of hands-on experience in planning engineering within construction/infrastructure industry Proven track record in project coordination and management Experience with project planning software and tools Background in budget management and financial planning
Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Coordination

Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and timelines using industry-standard software Coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, and construction Monitor project milestones and ensure adherence to planned schedules Facilitate effective communication between stakeholders and project teams Prepare detailed work breakdown structures (WBS) and critical path analysis
Progress Tracking & Monitoring

Implement robust project tracking systems and methodologies Conduct regular progress reviews and status reporting Identify potential delays, bottlenecks, and risk factors Prepare comprehensive progress reports for management and clients Utilize KPIs and performance metrics to measure project success
Budget Management & Financial Planning

Collaborate with QSE (Quantity Surveyor Engineer) for accurate cost estimation Develop and manage project budgets from inception to completion Monitor budget allocation and expenditure across project phases Implement cost control measures and variance analysis Prepare budget forecasts and financial projections
Cash Flow Management

Monitor project cash flow requirements and optimize working capital Prepare cash flow projections and payment schedules Coordinate with finance teams for timely fund allocation Track receivables and payables to maintain healthy cash flow Implement financial controls and reporting mechanisms
Required Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills

Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject) Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Understanding of construction methodologies and processes Knowledge of contract management and procurement processes Familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements
Analytical Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Data-driven decision making and performance analysis Risk assessment and mitigation planning Resource optimization and allocation strategies
Communication & Leadership

Preferred Qualifications

Professional certifications in project management (PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM) Experience with digital project management tools and platforms Knowledge of sustainable construction practices and green building concepts Understanding of regulatory compliance and safety standards Previous experience in infrastructure, residential, or commercial construction projects
