Workplace Investing (WI) Operations supports and maintains pension administration services for a wide range of corporate clients. The nature of the service provided includes full support to pension scheme members at all stages of the administration life cycle through to specialist support to trustees and members for specific task delivery. DC Implementations team looks after projects for WI clients (Trustees and Scheme Sponsors). The team scope the client requirements and design a project plan in consultation with internal and external stakeholders. The purpose of the team is to be the single point of contact for the client during a project and support any change management queries. DC Implementations team is responsible to process few key critical tasks : Reconciling and validating data on client files Raising timely data queries with the clients Placing blackouts and sending communication to the wider business/admin teams Placing holds on letters and deletion of CA/Imps group on Pendoc Releasing Welcome/TVIN packs and reconciliation through Pendoc Log Form collation for investment choices and reconciling them Creating member records on our systems Processing Bulk Sale IDQ runs Creating mappings on PV Placing diviload\'s. The team works on multiple projects simultaneously in a month. Hence, any misses or delay of the above tasks can lead to potential Financial, reputational and regulatory risk. The role is to project manage and implement an end-to-end change for a pension scheme with a particular focus on our more technical projects - SFTP set-up, Single Sign-on web integration set-up, Invest at Work inplementations/changes and Stockplan Services set-up. There will also be the opportunity to take on other, less technically focussed, projects over time such as changes to investment strategies. Key responsibilities will vary depending on the types of projects the successful candidate is working on but could include any/all of the following: Design the project plan for each project and agree deliverables with the internal and external teams. Monitor and update the project plan throughout the process. Manage risks and issues thourhgout the project lifecycle with appropriate tracking and escalation. Adhere to all project delivery processes and procedures to ensure appropriate governance is in place for all projects. Assist client in understanding the project delivery process and procedures. Work with Technology to identify, analyse, sponsor, and install any needed systems enhancements. Work worth the internal teams across various business areas dealing with Client facing teams, other investment channels, Production Support, Middleware team and back office operations like Banking etc. Lead/support client meetings to provide updates on the plan and highlight tasks that need to be completed by the client. Support testing of the technical changes as required. Interface with client and/or internal associates to solve problems and resolve outstanding issues relating to plan administration or any of Fidelity\'s products and services. Effectively manage the client by communicating in a timely fashion any issues that could impact the project timelines or result in a change of procedures. Work with clients\' system group to clarify data requirements: provide appropriate data, format specifications and other information as required. Provide management, sales, client management and admin with timely, concise status reports, as well as meeting notes for all client meetings. Submit problem reports to the systems group when systems problems are identified. Consult with direct reporting Manager or appropriate parties on issues requiring additional attention or decision-making. Support other PMs on specific elements of larger projects. Continuously seek to identify opportunities to improve processes/working practices and feed these into team leadership. Understand the market and its needs by keeping up with industry trends and developments in the market through regular client contact, trade press, and industry conferences. Provide input in the decision making process to senior management when required. Support the sales process for new prospects and client calls, as appropriate. Demonstrate strong presentation and interpersonal skills. Experience and Qualifications Required Good education standard ideally Degree. Knowledge of investment and retirement market including good understanding Savings and Investment products like ISAs SIPPs and Pension. Experience in Defined Contributions/Final Salary operations administration & implementation. Ideally Prince 2/Agile Practitioner Qualified. Experience of running projects using Microsoft Project. Experience of working with technical teams to support technology focussed projects. Self-starter, keen to take on responsibility and new projects. Ability to anticipate potential problems, plan for such events and problem solve. Numerate and computer literate (especially Excel, also Word and PowerPoint). Able to demonstrate abilities and experience in duties and responsibilities mentioned above. Ability to work well with various internal teams at all levels. Strong organisational skills. Good written and oral communication skills. Strong desire and satisfaction for completing and finishing tasks. High attention to detail and focus on quality of output. Some experience of client management, consulting and sales skills would be advantageous.
