Position Overview

VSI Technologies is hiring a technically proficient Project Manager - Web & App Development to lead the successful execution of software projects across web and mobile platforms. This individual will serve as the key link between stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring the timely delivery of scalable, secure, and user-centric applications.

Ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in software development processes, the ability to manage technical discussions, and a track record of delivering web and app products using Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle for custom web and mobile app development projects. Define scope, objectives, tasks, and deliverables in collaboration with development teams and product stakeholders. Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives. Collaborate with UI/UX designers, front-end/back-end developers, QA testers, DevOps engineers, and cloud architects. Monitor project KPIs and ensure quality, security, and performance standards are met. Mitigate risks, manage dependencies, and proactively solve project bottlenecks. Report progress and status to senior leadership and/or client stakeholders.

Note: You do not need to code daily, but you must be able to communicate effectively with developers, understand architecture diagrams, and review technical documentation.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field. 3+ years of experience managing digital projects in a web and/or app development environment. Strong command of Agile, Scrum, or Kanban frameworks. Experience launching products through app stores (iOS/Android) or web-based platforms. Outstanding organizational and communication skills; ability to translate business needs into actionable tasks.
Preferred Qualifications

PMP, CSM, Scrum Master, or Agile PM certification. Experience managing remote or offshore development teams. Exposure to emerging technologies like AI/ML integration, APIs, or Web3 is a plus. Understanding of compliance frameworks (HIPAA, GDPR, SOC 2) depending on client sector.
