Job Description

1. Project Leadership & Strategy

Lead end-to-end execution of solar power projects (utility-scale, C&I, or rooftop).

Define project strategy, timelines, budgets, and resource plans.

Align project execution with company goals, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.

1. Project Planning & Execution

Oversee project lifecycle from feasibility, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, to handover. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and as per quality and safety standards. Monitor project milestones and resolve execution challenges.

1. Technical Oversight

Review and approve engineering designs, layouts, and technical specifications.

Ensure compliance with grid codes, standards, and local regulations.

Guide teams on technology selection (modules, inverters, BOS, trackers).

1. Procurement & Vendor Management

Manage EPC contractors, suppliers, consultants, and subcontractors.

Negotiate contracts and ensure cost optimization.

Track material availability and logistics to avoid delays.

1. Financial & Commercial Management

Control project budgets, cash flows, and profitability.

Review BOQs, CAPEX, OPEX, and variation orders.

Coordinate with finance teams for billing, claims, and audits.

1. Regulatory & Compliance Management

Ensure statutory approvals, permits, and grid connectivity are obtained.

Maintain compliance with environmental, safety, and labor laws.

Liaise with DISCOMs, government authorities, and regulatory bodies.

1. Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE)

Implement quality assurance and quality control processes.

Enforce health, safety, and environmental policies across all sites. Conduct audits and ensure zero-accident culture.

1. Risk Management

Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans.

Handle contractual disputes, claims, and force majeure events. Ensure business continuity and contingency planning.

1. Team Leadership & Development

Lead and mentor project managers, engineers, and site teams.

Set KPIs and conduct performance reviews.

Build a high-performing, safety-driven project team.

1. Stakeholder & Client Management

Act as the primary point of contact for clients and investors.

Provide regular project updates, reports, and dashboards. Ensure high client satisfaction and repeat business.

1. Commissioning & Handover

Oversee testing, commissioning, and performance validation.

Ensure smooth handover to O&M teams with complete documentation.

Track defect liability and warranty obligations.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?40,000.00 per month
