Job Description

1. Project Planning & Execution

Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation plans. Review engineering drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications. Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Coordinate procurement of materials and ensure timely delivery at site.

2. Site Supervision & Implementation

Oversee site execution activities including civil, mechanical, and electrical works. Ensure compliance with safety standards, QA/QC protocols, and installation guidelines. Conduct regular site progress reviews and resolve on-site issues.

3. Stakeholder Management

Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and subcontractors. Manage permits, approvals, and liaison with local authorities. Prepare and deliver daily/weekly/monthly project progress reports.

4. Financial & Contractual Control

Monitor project costs, budget utilization, and cash flow. Review vendor and contractor invoices and verify work completion. Ensure adherence to contractual obligations and support in change order management.

5. Testing, Commissioning & Handover

Oversee testing and commissioning of solar plants. Conduct system performance evaluations and ensure compliance with expected yield. Prepare project documentation and ensure smooth project handover to O&M team/client.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Strong project management and leadership skills. Knowledge of solar PV technologies, components, EPC workflows, and electrical systems. Proficiency in MS Project / Primavera / AutoCAD / Excel. Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Civil Engineering or related field. 3-10 years of experience in solar EPC project management (as per requirement). PMP certification is an added advantage. Experience with rooftop, ground-mounted, or utility-scale solar projects.
