Lead and manage end-to-end projects related to mechanical door lock products--from concept, design, prototyping, testing to final production.
Coordinate with design, R&D, quality, production, and procurement teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Prepare detailed project plans, timelines, and cost estimates; ensure projects are completed within budget and deadlines.
Monitor project progress and handle any technical or operational issues.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, product specifications, and customer requirements.
Manage supplier communication for components, materials, and tooling development.
Conduct risk assessment and implement corrective/preventive actions.
Review engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation.
Lead prototype development, testing and validation processes.
Prepare project reports, documentation, and performance reviews for management.
Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and product quality enhancement.
Collaborate with sales/marketing teams for new product development based on market demand.
Skills & Qualifications:
B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
2-4 years of experience in project management, preferably in door locks, hardware, or precision mechanical components.
Strong understanding of mechanical design, machining, casting, sheet metal, and assembly processes.
Knowledge of lock mechanisms, security products, or hardware fittings is preferred.
Proficiency in project management tools and MS Office.
Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
