The MEP Manager is responsible for leading and managing all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) services for construction projects from design to commissioning. The role involves planning, coordination, and execution of MEP systems to ensure they meet design intent, quality standards, timelines, safety norms, and budget targets. The position requires close collaboration with architects, structural engineers, consultants, contractors, and clients to deliver integrated and efficient building systems.
Project Planning & Coordination:
Oversee complete MEP planning, design review, and implementation for all construction projects.
Coordinate with design consultants and architects to ensure design compliance with project requirements and applicable codes.
Integrate MEP systems with structural and architectural works.
Execution & Supervision:
Manage day-to-day site activities related to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, BMS, and other MEP installations.
Ensure that all work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
Supervise and monitor MEP subcontractors and vendors for timely delivery and installation.
Quality & Compliance:
Conduct regular inspections and ensure adherence to quality standards and statutory regulations.
Review material submittals, method statements, and technical drawings.
Ensure compliance with local building codes, IS standards, and client specifications.
Budget & Cost Control:
Prepare and monitor MEP budgets and cost estimates.
Review and approve vendor quotations and subcontractor bills.
Identify and control cost overruns through value engineering and efficient resource utilization.
Testing & Commissioning:
Plan, supervise, and validate the testing and commissioning of all MEP systems.
Ensure proper handover documentation and O&M manuals are submitted to the client.
Team Management:
Lead a team of MEP engineers and site supervisors across multiple projects.
Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and training to the team.
Client & Stakeholder Coordination:
Act as the main point of contact for all MEP-related discussions with the client and consultants.
Present progress reports and resolve any design or execution conflicts proactively.

Qualifications & Experience:
Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical / electrical engineering (Master's preferred).
Experience: 10+ years of experience in MEP design, execution, and project management within the construction industry.
Proven track record in managing large-scale commercial, industrial, or residential projects.
Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, and ELV systems.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and MS Project/Primavera.
