The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalising manufacturing projects according to strict deadlines, within scope, and budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants. The Project Manager will also oversee quality control throughout the project lifecycle to ensure that company and industry standards are met.

What will you do? (Responsibilities):
Project Planning and Execution:
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones to meet business objectives.
Coordinate with various departments such as production, engineering, procurement, and quality control to ensure alignment with project goals.
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables, and communicate them to stakeholders.
Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
Resource Management:
Identify and allocate resources, including materials, equipment, and personnel.
Manage project teams by providing direction and support.
Liaise with external suppliers and contractors to ensure project requirements are met.
Budget and Cost Control:
Prepare budgets, track project costs, and control expenditures.
Conduct risk assessments to anticipate potential issues and plan mitigation strategies.
Ensure that cost efficiencies are maintained throughout the project.
Quality and Compliance:
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
Work with quality control teams to ensure that final products meet the required standards.
Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary.
Communication and Reporting:
Communicate project status, progress, risks, and issues to senior management and stakeholders.
Provide regular updates and reports to management on project performance.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing best practices.
Team Leadership:
Lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and high performance.
Mentor and coach team members to enhance their skills and abilities.
Conduct performance reviews for project team members when applicable.
What do we need? (Requirements):
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Master in Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
8+ years of experience in project management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, systems, and operations.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana).
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Scrum, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
