Job Description

Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets specific to electrical systems installation. Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to integrate electrical plans into the overall project schedule. Oversee the design process of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with project requirements, building codes, and safety standards. Provide on-site supervision and support during the construction phase of the project. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and construction teams to ensure proper installation of electrical systems according to design specifications and quality standards. Implement quality control measures to ensure the integrity and reliability of electrical installations. Conduct inspections, tests, and audits to verify compliance with project requirements, safety regulations, and industry standards. Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and budget related to electrical work. Assess the impact of proposed changes, negotiate adjustments with stakeholders, and update project documentation accordingly. Identify potential risks and issues that may affect the successful completion of electrical work. Develop mitigation strategies, contingency plans, and risk response measures to minimize project disruptions and liabilities. Maintain open communication channels with project team members, clients, vendors, and regulatory authorities. Facilitate meetings, presentations, and progress reports to keep stakeholders informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle. Coordinate the commissioning process for electrical systems, including testing, startup, and performance verification. Ensure that all systems are fully functional, compliant, and ready for occupancy before project handover to the client. Maintain accurate records of project documentation, including drawings, specifications, contracts, change orders, and correspondence. Prepare regular progress reports, financial summaries, and closeout documentation for project completion. Provide training and technical support to client personnel, facility managers, and maintenance staff regarding the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems installed in the building.
