Job Description

Management of overall construction projects including planning, estimation, scheduling (Construction schedule, Invoicing Schedule, Mile stone Schedule, Resource Schedules - P&M, Staff, Labour, Specialized agency & Material, Cash - Inflow & Outflow, etc.) preparation of blueprints and execution of projects.

In charge of entire pre construction planning too

Periodic reviewing & monitoring of the project progress in line with planned schedules and end user clients for ensuring completion of project within the scheduled time and cost parameters.

Monitoring projects with respect to Cost, Resource Deployment, Time over-runs, Quality Compliance and Manpower planning.

Monitoring the inventory for controlling the same at economic level.

Developing a dedicated quality vendor system for cost effective procurement.

Identifying contractors and verifying their expertization and ability to execute the jobs.

Work Order preparation, negotiation & finalizing of Supplier / Contractor

Liasioning with Clients, external agencies viz. contractors, consultants & architects on design specifications & with government agencies for approvals & clearance

Verifying contractors/sub-contractors bills and monitoring payment disbursals.

Interacting with clients for assessing requirements and reporting project progress.

Coordinating with local suppliers for materials & developing SCM for facilitating supplies.

Monitoring the performance of sub-contractors, ensuring compliance with quality assurance plans.

Anchoring the site construction activities.



Organizing and deployment of various resources (Staff, Labour, P&M, FW materials, etc.)

Preparation of shop drawing / working drawings based on the main drawing and specifications and obtaining approval for the execution.

Allocation of resources as per plan. Conducting daily review meetings to find out the shortfall and re-allocating of there sources as per the day's requirement.

Computing BOQs, allocating resources, conducting audits for analyzing variances in material costs etc.

Rising of monthly invoicing and follow up for its certification and payments. Preparing of fortnightly/ monthly Progress Reports with Cash Flow Statement and Cost Control Reports & checking contractors bills and the payment status.

Attending the client and management review meetings.

Deploying of manpower effectively and checking of their productivity regularly.

Training of manpower regularly in the areas of effective production, wastage reduction, safety, quality, etc.

Guiding site staff members to address and resolve performance bottlenecks.

Addressing training needs of site staff to enhance their skills and productivity
