: Project Manager - CSR (Sports Development Program)

Role Overview
The Project Manager will play a central role in ensuring smooth planning, execution, and monitoring of a CSR Sports Development Program in Jamui, Bihar. The role is hybrid, with operational oversight from Mumbai and regular field engagement in Jamui.
The individual will work closely with the field implementation team, district stakeholders, and the client's CSR team. The position demands strong program management, communication, and reporting capabilities with the ability to coordinate between multiple on-ground and client-side stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities1. Program and Team Management
Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of the CSR Sports Development Program in Jamui.
Manage field teams, coaches, and implementation staff as per program plans and timelines.
Lead the hiring and onboarding of key human resources including assistant coaches, head coaches, management staff, and technical directors.
Develop and monitor monthly and quarterly work plans, budgets, and performance indicators.
Provide operational and managerial support to field teams to maintain program quality and discipline.
Ensure effective functioning of sports facilities, training programs, and athlete tracking systems.
2. Stakeholder Management and Networking
Act as the primary coordination link between internal and client CSR teams.
Liaise with district administration, sports departments, and local institutions for smooth program operations.
Engage with coaches, technical experts, and federations to strengthen program delivery.
Represent the program in review meetings, inspections, and evaluation visits.
Support the client team in preparing reports, briefs, and stakeholder updates.
3. Reporting and Impact Documentation
Lead data management, analysis, and reporting on key program metrics (participation, training hours, athlete outcomes, etc.).
Prepare monthly and quarterly reports, presentations, and dashboards for internal and client review.
Document impact stories, best practices, and case studies for communication and visibility.
Maintain an updated program MIS with accurate and timely field data.
Coordinate impact evaluations, monitoring visits, and compliance reviews.
4. Other Responsibilities
Manage procurement, logistics, and vendor coordination for the Jamui project.
Track and report budget utilization in coordination with the finance team.
Participate in client review meetings, internal reviews, and annual planning discussions.
Undertake regular field visits to Jamui for supervision and stakeholder engagement.
Ensure adherence to organizational policies, safety standards, and compliance norms.
Qualifications and ExperienceEssential Qualifications:
Graduate degree in any discipline with an MBA / PG Diploma in Sports Management.
Strong understanding of sports for development, community engagement, and program operations.
Experience:
6-8 years of experience in sports development, CSR project management, or large-scale grassroots initiatives.
Proven experience in team leadership, program monitoring, stakeholder coordination, and resource hiring.
Experience in data-driven project tracking, reporting, and client communication.
Skills Required:
Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting dashboards.
Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
Willingness to travel extensively between Mumbai and Jamui.
