Soltrac Power is seeking an experienced and skilled Project Manager to oversee and manage end-to-end solar project execution. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in solar installation, commissioning, net-metering, and client handovers with all safety protocols. The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating teams, ensuring timely project delivery, and maintaining the highest technical and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
Manage end-to-end execution of solar projects, from planning to commissioning.
Prepare project schedules, allocate resources, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion.
Supervise site activities and ensure compliance with technical drawings, designs, and safety standards.
Technical Oversight
Oversee solar system installation, wiring, earthing, and panel/inverter setup.
Conduct testing and commissioning of systems with proper documentation.
Ensure compliance with quality and safety protocols before project handover.
Net-Metering & Handover
Coordinate with DISCOM and other authorities for net-metering applications and approvals.
Ensure successful system integration with the grid and complete handover to clients.
Conduct final project inspections and client training on system operation.
Team & Vendor Coordination
Lead site engineers, supervisors, and contractors to ensure efficient execution.
Coordinate with procurement/logistics for timely availability of materials.
Manage vendor relationships for smooth project support.
Client & Reporting
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during project execution.
Provide regular updates on project progress, challenges, and solutions.
Prepare completion reports and maintain all project documentation.
Skills & Requirements
Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy Engineering.
3-5 years of hands-on experience in solar project installation, commissioning, and net-metering.
Strong technical knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, BOS components, and electrical works.
Proven experience in project management, team handling, and vendor coordination.
Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
Strong understanding of safety protocols and quality assurance.
Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
