The Project Manager in Civil Construction is responsible for the overall planning, coordination, execution, and completion of construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role involves managing multiple stakeholders, leading site teams, ensuring safety and quality standards, and resolving project challenges to ensure successful delivery from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage end-to-end project execution, including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and scheduling.
Oversee day-to-day operations on the construction site, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and quality norms.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal departments to ensure seamless execution of works.
Prepare and monitor detailed project schedules, work breakdown structures (WBS), and progress reports.
Manage project costs and resources, ensuring efficient procurement and utilization of materials, labor, and equipment.
Conduct regular site meetings, progress reviews, and inspections with stakeholders.
Identify potential risks and delays; implement effective mitigation strategies.
Ensure strict adherence to safety, environmental, and legal regulations.
Guide and mentor site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors to meet performance and project goals.
Prepare project status reports and communicate updates to senior management and clients.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent (Master's Degree preferred).
Minimum [8-15] years of experience in civil construction, including 3-5 years in a leadership role as a Project Manager or equivalent.
Proven track record of managing large-scale civil projects (e.g., residential, commercial, infrastructure, or industrial projects).

In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, contracts, and regulatory requirements.
Proficiency in project management tools (Primavera P6, MS Project), AutoCAD, and ERP systems.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
