Job Summary:
The Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and execution of modular furniture projects from inception to completion. This role involves managing client requirements, supervising design and production processes, ensuring timely installation, maintaining quality standards, and achieving customer satisfaction within budget and schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning and Coordination
Understand client requirements and prepare detailed project plans.
Coordinate with design, production, purchase, and installation teams for smooth execution.
Review drawings and ensure feasibility for production and site installation.
Design and Technical Review
Work closely with the design team to finalize layouts, material selections, and specifications.
Ensure designs are practical, cost-effective, and aligned with production capabilities.
Production and Material Management
Monitor production schedules and ensure materials are available as per project timelines.
Coordinate with procurement and store departments for material flow and dispatch planning.
Site Execution and Supervision
Oversee installation activities and ensure work progress as per schedule.
Manage site supervisors and installation teams to maintain quality and safety standards.
Resolve on-site issues and ensure smooth handover of completed projects.
Client Coordination and Communication
Act as the single point of contact for the client throughout the project.
Provide regular project updates, progress reports, and handle client feedback.
Ensure all commitments to the client are fulfilled within agreed timelines.
Documentation and Reporting
Maintain project documentation including drawings, approvals, and progress reports.
Prepare periodic status and completion reports for management.
Team Leadership and Compliance
Lead and motivate project teams to achieve organizational objectives.
Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and project protocols.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong project management and coordination skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management tools.
Knowledge of modular furniture materials, manufacturing, and installation processes.
Problem-solving and decision-making capability under pressure.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in modular furniture or interior project management.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹33,333.00 per month
