The Virtual Builder - Operations cluster at vConstruct enables global construction projects through Project Information Management, Change Management, BIM Coordination, Design & Constructability Reviews, and Closeout Management.


As a Project Manager, you will take responsibility for driving project success across multiple workstreams, ensuring predictable delivery and high-quality outcomes. This role goes beyond project execution--you will have the opportunity to coach and guide teams, integrate workflows across functions, and partner with clients to solve complex challenges. You will also contribute to process innovation, bringing new technologies and approaches into practice.

Key Responsibilities

Project Integration & Delivery

Lead the planning and execution of project workflows across information management, BIM coordination, change management, and design review. Ensure scope, schedule, cost, and quality objectives are consistently met. Anticipate risks, manage dependencies, and escalate proactively to ensure smooth delivery. Drive integration across disciplines and processes to achieve project-wide outcomes.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

Serve as a primary point of contact for client teams, aligning deliverables with expectations. Facilitate client reviews, present progress, and ensure stakeholder alignment. Build trusted relationships through consistent communication and high-quality results.

People & Team Management

Coach people in the team on workflows, problem-solving, and client communication. Provide feedback, support career growth, and foster a high-performance team culture. Take ownership of team health and collaboration across regions and disciplines. Actively Forecast and Reflect on work, do the resource planning, transitions planning and communicate & manage training and hiring needs

Process Development & Innovation

Lead adoption of new workflows, tools, and technologies (BIM platforms, automation, AI/ML-enabled solutions). Partner with internal innovation teams to design and pilot process improvements. Capture and share lessons learned to contribute to organizational knowledge and standards. Incorporate construction site-based lessons into innovation pilots for more tangible real-time site data integration and relatability.

Requirements & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management. 6-12 years of experience in construction operations (document management, BIM coordination, change management, or closeout). Proven track record of leading project delivery and coordinating across multiple stakeholders.

Strong understanding of VDC/BIM

process and platforms and project information systems and some awareness of Planning and Estimating workflows. Excellent client-facing communication and presentation skills. Demonstrated ability to mentor and lead teams, while balancing project and process needs. Curiosity to explore and apply new technologies in construction operations. Ideal candidates bring a blend of virtual expertise and site experience, ensuring that operational strategies are grounded in practical construction realities.
