The Project Manager will lead end-to-end operations, maintenance, manpower management, and client coordination for the Concern Water Supply O&M Contract.
This role ensures uninterrupted water supply, timely complaint resolution, efficient workforce deployment, and full compliance with Concern safety and operational standards.
2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Operational Management
Lead daily O&M activities across all Concern colonies and facilities.
Manage and monitor (Plumbers, Helpers, Mazdoors) across all shifts.
Ensure proper valve operation, leak repairs, line maintenance, and water distribution.
Oversee overhead tank level monitoring and compliance with supply schedules.
Maintain readiness for emergency breakdown repair teams.
Implement shift overlapping as required by Concern.
B. Client Coordination
Act as the primary point of contact for Concern officers.
Coordinate directly with the Engineer-in-Charge / AEE (Water Supply).
Submit daily reports, complaint resolutions, and technical logs.
Attend inspections, review meetings, and compliance audits.
C. Manpower Supervision
Prepare duty rosters and shift assignments.
Monitor attendance, discipline, PPE use, and job performance.
Conduct periodic skill evaluations and internal training.
Ensure professional conduct of all field staff inside Concern premises.
D. Complaint & Service Monitoring
Ensure timely resolution of all water supply complaints.
Maintain complaint registers and digital MIS tracking.
Monitor response time and closure quality.
Verify and approve repair quality and restoration work.
E. Safety & Compliance
Enforce all Concern safety rules, PPE usage, and safe work practices.
Ensure safety jackets, shoes, helmets, gloves, and belts are worn.
Implement safety nets and special supervision for work above 20 feet.
Submit accident reports within 24 hours as per tender requirement.
Ensure no-smoking compliance and maintain discipline on site.
