Key Responsibilities
1. Pan-India Project Coordination
Coordinate with Project Engineers across different regions on daily/weekly project updates.
Track progress of multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring milestones are achieved on time.
Review project schedules, material requirements, manpower status, and site challenges from each region.
Standardize reporting formats and ensure uniform documentation from every site.
2. Communication & Reporting (Bridge Between Teams & Management)
Act as a
bridge
between Project Engineers and the Director.
Consolidate regional site updates and prepare detailed weekly/monthly project reports for management.
Highlight risks, delays, manpower shortages, or material issues to the Director proactively.
Support decision-making by providing accurate status reports and data-driven insights.
3. Project Monitoring & Governance
Monitor project execution quality, timelines, budgets, and compliance across all sites.
Ensure that every site follows standard procedures for installation, testing, commissioning, and safety.
Track material dispatches, vendor deliveries, subcontractor performance, and billing progress.
4. Site Visits & Issue Resolution
Conduct periodic site visits across India for project audits and technical supervision.
Identify on-ground issues and coordinate with the regional Project Engineer to ensure quick resolution.
Escalate critical bottlenecks to Director with proper recommendations.
5. Stakeholder & Client Coordination
Coordinate with clients for approvals, schedules, documentation, and work progress.
Ensure strong communication between clients and site teams when needed.
Support Project Engineers in handling client escalations or technical queries.
6. Documentation & Compliance
Maintain proper project documentation including timelines, BOQs, drawings, material trackers, and progress photographs.
Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety protocols, QA/QC practices, and company guidelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 7+ years of experience in
piping projects
(industrial utilities, process piping, compressed air, gas, oil, etc.).
Proven experience in handling
multiple projects
at a time across different regions.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Ability to manage teams remotely and follow up with discipline.
Knowledge of piping materials, drawings, fabrication, erection, testing, and commissioning.
Good analytical skills for project tracking, documentation, and reporting.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project tracking tools.
