Role Overview
The
Project Manager
will play a critical role in overseeing and delivering home automation projects from initiation to closure. Once a project is finalised by the sales team, the Project Manager will take complete ownership- managing timelines, coordinating with clients, supervising installations, and ensuring successful handover. This role demands strong organizational, technical, and interpersonal skills to ensure seamless execution and a superior client experience.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Coordination
Take charge of project execution once the deal is closed.
Plan project timelines, resource allocation, and milestones in alignment with client requirements.
Coordinate internally with the hardware, software, and installation teams to ensure readiness before deployment.
Site Management
Conduct site visits to assess technical requirements, layout feasibility, and wiring compatibility.
Supervise installation and configuration of devices at client locations.
Ensure adherence to quality standards and timely project delivery.
Client Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during project implementation.
Communicate project progress, manage expectations, and resolve on-ground issues efficiently.
Conduct system demonstrations and ensure smooth handover upon completion.
Execution & Reporting
Track project performance using defined metrics and documentation.
Identify and mitigate risks that could affect timelines or deliverables.
Provide regular status updates to the leadership team and maintain records of project execution.
Desired Skills & Competencies
Strong project management and execution skills.
Excellent communication and client handling abilities.
Working knowledge of electrical systems, networking, or IoT (preferred).
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring layouts.
Hands-on, proactive, and detail-oriented with a focus on on-ground problem solving.
Comfortable traveling for site supervision across cities.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation preferred) or equivalent technical field.
2-5 years of experience in project execution or site management, preferably in automation, electrical, or construction industries.
Prior experience working with IoT or smart home technologies will be an advantage.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹540,000.00 - ₹720,000.00 per year
