The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and tracking all ongoing projects at Ralsonics from order receipt to delivery. This role requires strong coordination skills, proactive communication with customers, and disciplined reporting to management. The Project Manager will serve as the single point of accountability for project execution, timelines, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Tracking & Execution
Plan, monitor, and control project timelines, milestones, and deliverables for all ongoing customer orders.
Coordinate with design, procurement, production, quality, and dispatch teams to ensure smooth execution.
Maintain an updated project tracker with clear progress, bottlenecks, and next steps.
Identify risks and delays early, escalate critical issues, and ensure corrective action.
2. Reporting & Documentation
Provide
daily project status updates
(short summary) and
weekly detailed reports
directly to the Managing Director.
Document all key project information including project plan, scope, and change requests.
Maintain project files, communication logs, and customer documentation.
3. Customer Communication
Act as the
primary point of contact
for all customers once the order is received.
Share regular updates with customers regarding project progress, timelines, and dispatch schedules.
Handle customer queries, clarifications, and ensure timely and professional responses.
Escalate issues requiring management input while maintaining customer confidence.
4. Cross-Functional Coordination
Work closely with internal teams (design, production, procurement, quality, accounts) to align project deliverables.
Ensure smooth handover between departments and prevent communication gaps.
Track pending actions from all departments and follow through to closure.
5. Continuous Improvement
Identify recurring project delays, bottlenecks, or inefficiencies and propose process improvements.
Contribute to developing Ralsonics' project management systems and reporting formats.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication (English & Hindi/Marathi preferred).
Proficiency in project tracking tools (Excel, Google Sheets).
Customer-facing experience with professional communication.
Ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and present insights.
High ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production, or related field (preferred).
Minimum 2 years of experience in
project management, operations, or customer handling
in manufacturing/engineering companies.
Prior experience in
capital equipment or machinery manufacturing
will be an added advantage.
