Project Title : Project Manager - MEP /EPC - International Projects
Department: Projects / Site Execution Location:
Site Reporting To: GM Project/VP - Projects / Director - Projects.
Salary: 50k - 60k
- To lead the complete execution and delivery of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) services for both pharma and non-pharma (commercial/industrial) projects. The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring project objectives are met in terms of quality, timeline, budget, safety, and client satisfaction, while maintaining strict compliance with industry regulations and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
? Manage end-to-end execution of MEP works including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, BMS, and utilities. ? Plan and arrange required skilled and unskilled manpower for site execution as per project needs. ? Identify, evaluate, and finalize subcontractors and vendors for various MEP packages. ? Review and interpret technical specifications, GFC drawings, and BOQs for both pharma and non-pharma projects. ? Coordinate with design, procurement, and site teams to ensure timely delivery of material and work fronts. ? Monitor progress against schedule, identify bottlenecks, and take corrective measures proactively. ? Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO, and project-specific standards, especially for cleanroom/pharma works. ? Follow up with clients for work app
? Conduct regular coordination meetings with internal teams, clients, consultants, and contractors. ? Ensure proper safety and quality control procedures are implemented and followed at site. ? Oversee testing, commissioning, validation (for pharma), and successful handover of MEP systems. ? Prepare and manage documentation such as DPRs, MPRs, billing, material reconciliation, and as-built drawings. ? Monitor project financials and ensure profitability through cost control and timely billing. ? Maintain strong client relationships and ensure satisfaction through responsive and transparent communication?
Key Skills & Competencies: ? In-depth knowledge of MEP systems in cleanroom (pharma) and commercial/industrial settings ? Excellent project planning, budgeting, and execution control ? Strong understanding of regulatory and quality compliance, especially in pharma projects ? Leadership and team management across multidisciplinary functions ? Proficient in MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD, and other project management tools ? Effective communication, negotiation, and client handling skills ? Problem-solving and conflict resolution ability under pressure ?
Qualifications & Experience: ? Diploma / B.E. / B. Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering ? 04-05 years of experience in HVAC/Electrical/Utility project execution with a strong background in manpower and labour contractor handling ? Prior experience in pharma or cleanroom project environments is highly preferred
