About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced

Project Manager

with 4-5 years of proven expertise in the

localization and translation industry

. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing multilingual localization projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring high-quality outcomes within defined timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end localization projects, including scope definition, resource allocation, scheduling, and delivery. Coordinate between clients, linguists, translators, DTP specialists, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution. Prepare project plans, timelines, and cost estimates while maintaining profitability. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions proactively. Ensure adherence to quality standards, style guides, and client-specific requirements. Maintain client communication and provide regular status updates. Manage vendor relationships, negotiate rates, and ensure timely payments and deliverables. Use and manage

efficiently (e.g., Trados, memoQ, XTM, Smartling, Memsource). Contribute to process improvement initiatives and assist in optimizing workflows.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Translation, Communication, or a related field. 4-5 years of experience in project management within the

localization / translation industry

. Strong understanding of localization workflows, translation memory, and terminology management. Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills. Proficiency with localization tools such as

SDL Trados, Memsource, Smartcat, XTM

, etc. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. Experience working with global clients and multicultural teams. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification. Experience with software localization, multimedia localization, or website localization projects. Familiarity with Agile methodology.
