Job Title: Livelihood Project coordinator - Climate Smart Village

Location: Rural Bengaluru, Orissa, Himachal (Bangalore Rural District)

Experience Required: 10 Years

Education: MBA / PG in Rural Development, Social Enterprise, Marketing, or equivalent

Reporting To: Program Head / Senior Leadership

Job Summary

: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Project coordinator - Climate Smart Village (CSV) Program to lead livelihood-centered, climate-smart rural enterprise initiatives across Bengaluru Rural, Odisha, and Himachal Pradesh.

The role focuses strongly on:

? Marketing, sales, and revenue growth of women-led and green enterprises

? Market linkage development, aggregation & enterprise scale-up

? Managing multi-state field teams and community entrepreneurs

? Driving sustainability, profitability, and impact outcomes

The ideal candidate brings strong rural markets experience, enterprise incubation exposure, sales leadership, and program management expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

Program & Enterprise Leadership

? Lead the end-to-end implementation of the Climate Smart Village livelihood portfolio including solar dryer enterprises, nursery units, beekeeping, waste-to-value, solar pump rental models, and micro-enterprise clusters.

? Develop business plans, pricing models, value-chain strategies, and profitability roadmaps for women-led enterprises.

? Drive scale-up across states through replicable livelihood & enterprise models. Marketing, Sales & Market Linkages (Primary Focus)

? Build sales channels for CSV livelihood products -- dried food products, honey, saplings, compost, agri-produce & eco-enterprise outputs.

? Establish B2B, institutional, retail, and digital marketplaces.

? Lead branding, packaging, and product positioning aligned with BINDI's impact brand.

? Drive monthly revenue targets and enterprise growth metrics.

? Forge partnerships with buyers, aggregators, FPOs, Agri-processors, e-commerce platforms, urban markets & CSR partners.

Team & Field Operations Management

? Lead and mentor state project teams, community mobilizers, women collectives, and local entrepreneurs.

? Build systems for sales reporting, performance tracking, and field-to-market coordination.

? Conduct exposure visits, enterprise handholding, and capability-building workshops.

Partnerships, Impact & Program Governance:

? Work with government agencies, livelihood missions, Panchayats, CSR partners, and market institutions.

? Ensure alignment with climate-smart, gender-inclusive, and sustainable enterprise principles.

? Oversee monitoring, financial sustainability metrics, and impact reporting.

Required Skills & Competencies

? Proven leadership in rural livelihoods, social enterprise, or FMCG / Agri-value- chain sales.

? Demonstrated success in market linkage development, revenue growth, or enterprise incubation.

? Strong experience working with SHGs, producer groups, or rural entrepreneur networks.

? Excellent skills in relationship building, negotiation, and cross-state program management.

? Ability to operate across field realities and strategic leadership environments.

Experience:

? Minimum 8-12 years in livelihood programs / rural enterprise / social business / agri- market development.

? Prior experience in sales-driven program leadership or market-oriented livelihoods is highly preferred.

Educational Qualifications

: MBA / PG in Rural Development, Social Enterprise, Marketing, or equivalent

: Field travel is required.
