We are seeking a passionate and experienced Project Manager - Livelihood to design, implement, and manage a scalable and replicable livelihood model. This role focuses on establishing and strengthening Producer Organizations (POs) by clustering Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs). The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of community development, market linkages, and financial inclusion, and legal frameworks for PO/FPO formation and be committed to empowering communities through sustainable livelihood initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Model Design and Development:
? Develop a comprehensive and adaptable livelihood model focusing on the formation and growth of sustainable POs.
? Define PO structure, governance mechanisms, business planning processes, and membership criteria.
? Ensure the model is scalable and replicable in different contexts.
2. SHG/FPO Mobilization and Clustering:
? Identify, mobilize, and cluster existing SHGs and FPOs into viable POs.
? Develop strategies for outreach, engagement, and ensuring active participation of community members.
3. Training and Capacity Building:
? Design and deliver training programs for PO members and leaders on organizational management, financial literacy, business development, marketing, and relevant technical skills (e.g., sustainable agricultural practices).
4. Market Linkages:
? Establish and maintain market linkages for POs to ensure access to profitable markets.
? Facilitate access to credit for POs through partnerships with financial institutions.
? Assist with loan applications, develop business plans, and promote financial inclusion.
6. Monitoring and Evaluation:
? Develop and implement a robust monitoring and evaluation framework to track progress and impact.
? Analyze data and make necessary adjustments to optimize the model's effectiveness.
7. Stakeholder Management:
? Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including community members, government agencies, NGOs, and private sector partners.
8. Project management, documentation and Reporting:
? Prepare regular reports on project progress, achievements, challenges, and lessons learned.
? Document best practices and develop case studies.
? Leadership and Communication: Inspiring and motivating the project team while clearly conveying information to stakeholders, including community members, government agencies, and NGOs.
? Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Identifying and resolving issues that arise during the project and making timely, informed decisions.
? Adaptability and Organization: Adjusting to changing circumstances and maintaining a structured approach to project management.
? Community Engagement: Strong ability to mobilize and engage community members, including Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), into viable POs.
Who Can Apply?

? Candidates with a Master's degree in Rural Development, Agriculture Economics, Business Administration, Social Work, or a related field.
? Individuals with proven experience in designing and implementing livelihood programs, preferably with a focus on PO development.
? Professionals with a strong understanding of market dynamics, value chains, and access to finance for smallholder producers.
? Candidate with 2-7 years of experience.
? The candidate is expected to stay in Bokaro during the duration of the project.
? Knowledge of local context and language (Near Bokaro)
