Essential Job Functions:

• Lead and influence others including those more senior on best practices related to data engineering including SQL and BI reporting such as Qlik, Power BI.
• Experience on core banking domain will be preferred.
• Hold regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects
• Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for staff members required for specific projects or initiatives
• Research and evaluate hardware and software technology options and weigh the cost/benefit analysis when making large purchases on behalf of the company
• Recruit and train exceptional employees to fulfill posted positions within the technical department
• Ability to multi-task across assignments and engagements as needed
• Update and maintain all production technologies ensuring proper maintenance and installation
• Work closely with project leadership to assess organizational impediments, measure flow and develop strategies for continuously improving.
• Implement processes, practices, and tools to allow for multiple paths of delivery. For e.g, create simplified, consistent, reusable, efficient and flexible methodologies.
• Play an active role in leading agile teams and guide them in project implementation.
• Inspire others to adopt the new processes and improvements based on program retrospectives.
• Manage and lead a team of data engineers and BI developers in the entire project development life cycle.
• Manage each phase of the development life cycle and ensure that all tasks/objectives in each phase are met.
• Manage customer's expectation.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments.
• Accountable for the scope, schedule and resources used.

Qualifications:

• At least 15-20+ years of experience in Project Management and at least 2-years' experience as Scrum Master in an Agile project.
• Must complete at least 20+ Agile project cycle
• Must have used the agile platform such as JIRA, Azure DevOps etc.
• SQL, database working experience in preferred.
• Attained the Certified Scrum Master or an equivalent qualification.
• Good knowledge of the commonly used agile tools and practices.
• Team player, Supervisory, Coaching, planning, and management skills.
• Strong written and communication skills.
• Strong inter-personal relationship
