Q2 is seeking a Project Manager reporting to a Delivery Manager and working closely with Implementation Engineers, Solution Architects, Product Managers, and the Development team with an overlap with US hours (3 pm-12 am IST). The Project Manager will engage in multiple on-line banking implementations concurrently.
The primary role is initiating and managing technical implementation projects, translating and guiding the business processes into technical solutions that meet the Financial Institution's requirements while also leveraging best practices and core functionality. This position will also be responsible for managing the overall expectations of the key client sponsors and executives while controlling project scope, timeline and budget.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Partner with clients to understand business requirements and expectations
Design and execute project plans and documentation to deploy Q2 solutions
Direct project resources to complete tasks in a timely manner
Work closely with the client and team to problem solve issues that arise
Track status and provide updates in relation to overall implementation process
Train and educate clients on the product and configuration options
Lead technical discussions with internal and external stakeholder and team members
Should be able to understand architecture and design level details
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:Typically requires a 2 years of related experience with Bachelor's degree in (relevant field).
Project Management Methodology exposure (PMP or PMI) is good to have
Familiarity with enterprise software deployment architecture and methodologies
Experience building documentation and project plans using Excel, MS Project, and MS PowerPoint
Hands on experience in SQL is preferred
Experience in implementing technical projects involving DevOps and AWS is added advantage
Experience managing client expectations with a Client first attitude and commitment to satisfaction
Ability to organize and execute multi-facet software deployments
Capable of assessing project risks and mitigations
Ability to convey technical concepts to business oriented banking project teams and interact with technical internal resources
Possess project leadership qualities
Strong written and oral communication skills with excellent people and teamwork skills
Ability to remain calm, diplomatic, and cooperative under stressful conditions
Attention to detail, exceptional follow-through, the ability to prioritize, stay organized, and multi-task in a fast paced environment
Financial Services and enterprise software experience preferred
This position requires fluent written and oral communication in English.
