The Project Manager primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to project
Operationalization and Implementation
- team onboarding and management, ensuring the project objectives and KPIs achieved on time, effective project implementation, quality assurance of the project deliverables,
Stakeholder Management
- donor and partnership management including liaison with educational/vocational institutions, NGOs, Government, employers, Private Sector etc
Reporting and Knowledge Management
- Prepare various reports and knowledge management documents including monthly/quarterly reports, human interest stories, project progress reports, etc,
S/he shall get the opportunity to develop innovative strategies for promoting sustainable
program for children, youth and women to enhance their socio-economic status.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Selection and training of the project implementation team as per the project requirements including induction, project orientation, guidance to effective implementation, reporting etc,
Prepare the project work plan such as timelines, budget requirements, responsibilities of the team members, quality indicators etc
Monitoring and Reviewing team performance, conducting periodical progress review meetings, regularly visit the project field to understand the progress, challenges, timelines planned vs achieved, stakeholders feedback etc.
Prepare the project progress reports as required including monthly, quarterly, and completion report in coordination with the MEL and Communication team.
Facilitate to prepare knowledge management materials including best practices, case studies, process documents etc.,
Build & Nurture strong relationships with various key stakeholders including the Government, Donor Agencies, civil societies/NGOs, employers, Industry associations, educational institutions, etc
Organize regular seminars/ workshops /conference, stakeholder meeting to disseminate the project outcomes and network with relevant stakeholders,
Responsible for resource/budget management, including planning and tracking of available budget and monitoring of expenditure as per approved project budget.
Manage project files, documents, concept notes, correspondence, and various communications as required.
Periodically update the project progress, challenges and learning to the supervisor.
Represent the organization in meetings/seminars/conferences etc
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Experience:
Experience at the state/national level in project implementation knowledge management, multi-stakeholder management. (Preferred)
Proven experience working on programs on the promotion of youth and women skilling employment, entrepreneurship, innovation, etc
Experience in working with the Government/CSR-funded project is an advantage
Possesses the capacity for strategic planning, result - based management, reporting, etc.
Language Requirements:
Should be well versed in English, knowledge of other language Kannada/Tamil/Telugu/Hindi is preferable.
