The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing interior fit-out projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and subcontractors to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager also defines the project's objectives and oversees quality control throughout its life cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Execution
Develop detailed project plans including scope, timelines, budget, procurement, and manpower.
Coordinate and manage all aspects of project implementation from conception to completion.
Monitor and control project progress to ensure on-time delivery.
Client & Stakeholder Management
Serve as the main point of contact for the client throughout the project.
Attend client meetings and site visits; provide updates and address concerns.
Ensure client specifications and expectations are clearly understood and met.
Budget & Cost Control
Prepare project budgets and ensure projects are delivered within financial targets.
Monitor costs, review variations, and ensure timely billing and collection.
Approve purchases, and subcontractor agreements, and manage cash flow.
Team & Site Management
Supervise site engineers, foremen, subcontractors, and labor to ensure productivity.
Enforce safety, quality, and regulatory compliance at the site.
Conduct regular site inspections and resolve any issues or delays.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain all project documentation including contracts, BOQs, drawings, and permits.
Prepare and submit progress reports to management and clients.
Ensure proper handover of completed projects including snag lists and warranties.
Requirements:
Education
: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
Experience
: Minimum 5-8 years of proven experience in project management within the interior fit-out industry.
Technical Skills
:
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and AutoCAD.
Soft Skills
:
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
