Job Description

Position Summary:

The Project Manager will lead the end-to-end execution of a greenfield chemical/dyes plant project, from planning, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning to handover. The role requires strong project management expertise, deep knowledge of chemical process plants

(especially dyes/azo/acid & direct dyes)

, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams, consultants, EPC contractors, and regulatory bodies.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Strategy

- Develop project execution plans, timelines, budgets, and ensure compliance with EHS standards and statutory approvals.

Engineering & Procurement

- Review engineering documents, oversee procurement of equipment/utilities, and manage vendor performance.

Construction & Installation -

Supervise site preparation, civil, mechanical, piping, and electrical works ensuring quality and safety.

Commissioning & Start-up

- Execute pre-commissioning & commissioning, supervise trials, and handover plant to operations.

Stakeholder & Team Management

- Act as single point of accountability, manage teams, liaise with authorities, and report progress.

Qualifications & Experience:

B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering 12-20 years in project management with at least 5 years in chemical/dyes greenfield/brownfield projects. Strong knowledge of chemical process equipment (reactors, dryers, centrifuges, ETP/ZLD). Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and as per safety norms.

Skills Required:

Project management (Primavera/MS Project proficiency). Deep understanding of chemical process plant design & commissioning. Strong leadership, problem-solving & decision-making skills. Knowledge of EHS, regulatory approvals, and sustainability practices. Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Pay: ?45,000.00 - ?70,000.00 per month
