The Project Manager - Electrical will be responsible for end-to-end execution of electrical projects, including planning, coordination, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover. The role requires strong technical knowledge, site execution expertise, and coordination with multiple stakeholders.
Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical & Execution
Hands-on exposure to
HT & LT electrical systems
Execution of
power distribution systems
Installation and testing of
earthing & lightning protection systems
Panel installation, testing, and commissioning
Handling
transformers, DG sets, and UPS systems
Installation and coordination of
MDB, SMDB, and DBs
Basic understanding and coordination of
fire alarm system interfacing
Coordination with
civil, HVAC, and fire-fighting teams
to ensure smooth execution
Design & Engineering
Read and interpret
electrical drawings, SLDs, and load schedules
Prepare, review, and verify:
BOQs
Load calculations
Cable sizing
Voltage drop calculations
Project Planning & Management
Execution planning and
work sequencing
Manpower planning
, deployment, and supervision
Material planning, tracking, and reconciliation
Coordination with
vendors and subcontractors
Monitor site progress and ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards
Reporting & Coordination
Preparation and submission of
Daily Progress Reports (DPR)
Regular coordination with
clients and consultants
Attend project meetings and provide technical clarifications
Ensure compliance with safety standards and statutory norms
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of
electrical project execution
Ability to manage multiple activities and stakeholders
Good communication and coordination skills
Problem-solving and decision-making ability
Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project (preferred)
Qualification
BE / BTech / Diploma in Electrical Engineering
