Job Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of 5 to 7 business analysts, ensuring they are delivering work of high quality and meeting deadlines.
- Ensure regular client management by liaising with clients, understanding their requirements and providing solutions that meet their needs.
- Analyze and interpret data to develop insightful analytical reports that can be used to inform decision-making.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, including coaching and training where necessary.
- Liaise with the senior manager to develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and ensure project success.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in order to continually improve the team\'s skills and abilities.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Ensure that team members are adhering to company policies and procedures, including those related to data security and privacy.
Must have:
- Analytics experience of 4+ years in Financial Services industry.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Must have working knowledge of SQL/Hive and Python.
- Must have at least 4+ years experience in Risk Modelling. Experience on all 3 areas - Credit, Fraud and Collection - across the customer lifecycle would be preferred in the Project lead.
- Must have expertise in data processing, time series, modeling packages and frameworks - Pandas, Scikit Learn.
- Must have worked on one or more modeling techniques - GBM, Regression, Decision Trees, Random Forest, K Means Clustering, etc.
- Familiarity with Hadoop and other big data platforms.
- Willingness to assume extended responsibility.
