Job Description
Job Role and Responsibilities: As a Speaker Acquisition specialist, you will have to work on data building and mapping and building a new database for relevant industry-specific events. Engaging in delegate acquisition and conducting active calling on the prospective database to generate registrations. Working on data management and event marketing and preparing detailed reports as per event requirements. Assisting in facilitating marketing activities of the said event.
- Understanding the conference\'s target audience.
- keeping an eye on market trends and industry events.
- Updating and maintaining databases.
- Obtaining conference speakers by the deadline.
- Obtaining speakers through innovative approaches.
- Liaising with speakers throughout the production cycle.
- Dealing with potential speaker dropouts.
- Updating management on activities every week
- Generating relevant data for speaker acquisition via phone calls, LinkedIn, and other sources; and developing innovative approaches to generate new leads.
- Scheduling calls with speakers to finalize the subject, and explain the conference format, and requirements.
- Cold calling industry experts followed by email communications to find suitable speakers.
