Project Manager - Electrical Panels, Switchgear & Automation

We are looking for a

results-driven Project Manager

to manage end-to-end execution of

electrical panel, switchgear, and industrial automation projects

. The role involves close coordination with engineering, production, procurement, site teams, and clients to ensure projects are delivered

on time, within budget, and as per quality and safety standards

.

Key Responsibilities

Manage complete project lifecycle from order receipt to design, engineering, procurement, manufacturing, testing, dispatch, installation, and commissioning Act as the primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders Prepare project plans, schedules, budgets, and track milestones Coordinate with engineering teams on SLDs, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and automation specifications Coordinate procurement of electrical and automation components (breakers, PLCs, HMIs, relays, etc.) Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and industry standards (UL, IEC, ANSI) Monitor project costs, identify variances, and ensure profitability Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans Coordinate with site teams and contractors for installation and commissioning

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or related field

3+ years of experience

as a Project Manager in electrical panels, switchgear, or industrial automation projects PMP / PMI certification will be an added advantage

Technical Skills Required

Strong knowledge of

LV & MV switchgear, MCCs, and custom control panels

Experience with

PLC, HMI, SCADA, and VFD systems

Ability to read and interpret

electrical schematics, SLDs, and technical drawings

Familiarity with

project management tools

such as MS Project, Jira, or similar Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
