Core responsibilities

Operational Management:

Lead end-to-end plant operations, including production planning, quality assurance, and engineering to meet production, quality, and delivery targets.

Safety and Compliance:

Establish and enforce safety policies and ensure the plant complies with all local, national, and international standards, including environmental and energy management systems.

Strategic and Financial Management:

Develop and implement long-term manufacturing strategies and budgets, manage capital expenditure proposals, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure cost and quality goals are met.

Team Leadership:

Lead, coach, and develop direct reports and manage a high-performing team to drive productivity, continuous improvement, and cost reduction.

Procurement and Supply Chain:

Manage the procurement of spares and fuel, and oversee inventory control and supply chain logistics.

Maintenance and Engineering:

Ensure maximum availability of plant machinery and provide engineering support for procurement and project-related activities.

Key skills and qualifications

Technical Expertise:

Deep knowledge of thermal power plant operations and industry-specific technology.

Leadership and Management:

Strong skills in people management, strategic planning, problem-solving, and communication.

Financial Acumen:

Experience in budget management, forecasting, and capital expenditure planning.

Pay: Up to ₹2,400,000.00 per year
