The Project Manager will be responsible for managing projects end-to-end, from procurement to project handover. This includes planning, scheduling, vendor coordination, material procurement, manpower allocation, site execution, monitoring daily progress, and ensuring timely submission of daily and final project reports. The role covers conveyor projects, ESD tables/workstations, and acoustic booth installations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Coordination
Understand project scope, BOQ, drawings, and timelines.
Prepare project schedules, material plans, and execution strategies.
Coordinate with design, procurement, and production teams for timely deliverables.
Conduct kickoff meetings and align all stakeholders.
2. Procurement & Material Management
Raise purchase requests based on project BOM.
Follow up with vendors for timely material delivery.
Ensure quality checks and maintain material tracking.
Coordinate internal material movement and logistics.
3. Manpower Planning & Deployment
Assign technicians, fabricators, electricians, and helpers for each project.
Plan daily manpower allocation based on progress targets.
Monitor attendance, work distribution, and site discipline.
4. Site Execution & Monitoring
Ensure installation/execution as per approved drawings and standards.
Monitor work progress daily and resolve site issues promptly.
Maintain safety protocols and ensure proper PPE usage at site.
Coordinate with clients for site readiness and inspections.
5. Reporting & Documentation
Submit
daily project progress reports
with photos, material status, and manpower details.
Prepare
weekly progress summaries
for management.
Maintain project documentation: drawings, approvals, material inward/outward, inspection reports.
Submit
Final Project Report
at the completion of each project, including:
As-built drawings
Material reconciliation
Manpower summary
Completion photos/video
Client sign-off
6. Project Handover & Closure
Ensure punch list closure and final inspection.
Conduct handover meetings with the client.
Obtain completion certificate and customer feedback.
Close all documentation for internal audit and billing.
Skills & Requirements
Education & Experience
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering.
3-6 years of experience in project management (preferably industrial projects).
Experience in conveyor systems, ESD workstations, or turnkey industrial projects is an added advantage.
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of layouts, BOQ, and technical drawings.
Knowledge of procurement, vendor management, and site execution.
Familiarity with MS Office, MS Project, AutoCAD basics (preferred).
Soft Skills

Strong leadership and manpower management ability.
Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
