Responsibilities for Construction Project Manager
1. Understanding of scope of work and deliverables for commercial office projects. 2. Understanding of necessary permits, approvals, compliance and other regulatory prerequisites for the projects. 3. Draft and submit budget based on scope of work and resource requirements. 4. Coordinate with PMC in effective planning of projects 5. Monitoring of construction schedule and activities 6. Predict resources needed to complete project in time.. 7. Issue progress updates as needed regarding status and timelines to Management. 8. Over seek work is done in compliance with all relevant building and safety codes. 9. Manage subcontractor and supplier deliverables and coordination to avoid any coordination gaps and resolutions. 10 Coordinate efforts across entire project between architects, designers, engineers, subcontractors and Internal stakeholders. 11 should be hard working & professional in working. - 12 Providing technical advice and solving problems on site. 13 Assessing potential risks, materials, and costs. 14Supervision of all quality and workmanship 15 The Project Manager will be responsible to supervise the O ver All management of the site which includes monitoring the site labor force and the work of subcontractors & other multitasking tasks. 16 Project scheduling including material & manpower planning, anchoring & supervising on site construction activities to ensure completion of project within the time & cost parameters and effective resource utilization to maximize the output. 17 Should have a knowledge of different types of construction and well versed with MEP.
Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's degree in Building Construction, Construction Management, Civil/ Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering, or Architecture 8-10 years of experience in project management within construction
Comfortable reading and understanding blueprints and drawings
Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer software
Demonstrated knowledge of construction, engineering, and architecture principles
Ability to budget, schedule, do cost optimization like value engineering etc.
Familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms, and conditions.
Proficiency in English and other local language.
Strong leadership and management skills. Having experience in construction industry /projects of offices, Malls, Airports, Hospitals etc
