We are looking for an experienced

Manager

to lead and drive high-impact environmental and sustainability initiatives. This role will oversee diverse projects in areas such as pollution control, renewable energy, energy efficiency, circular economy solutions, carbon management, and climate action. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, skilled in project leadership, stakeholder engagement, and delivering measurable outcomes at scale.
You will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and monitoring programs that create tangible environmental and social impact while mentoring teams and building strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Program Strategy & Planning:

Define project objectives, design execution plans, and develop frameworks to ensure efficient implementation and measurable results.

Project Oversight:

Manage end-to-end delivery of environmental projects, ensuring timelines, milestones, and quality standards are met.

Team Leadership:

Lead, mentor, and manage project teams; define KRAs/KPIs and monitor performance to ensure accountability and high-quality outcomes.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

Build and nurture partnerships with government agencies, NGOs, academic institutions, private sector partners, and community groups to drive successful project execution.

Subject Matter Expertise:

Provide technical and strategic guidance to project teams in areas such as sustainability, pollution management, carbon credit mechanisms, energy efficiency, and climate adaptation.

Monitoring & Evaluation:

Track and document project progress, prepare detailed reports, analyze impact metrics, and ensure compliance with donor and regulatory requirements.

Budget & Resource Management:

Oversee project budgets, ensuring optimal utilization of funds, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to reporting guidelines.

Community Engagement:

Facilitate community outreach, mobilization, and awareness programs to ensure local participation and project sustainability.

Qualifications & Experience

Master's degree in

Social Sciences, Environmental Management, Sustainability, or related field

.
6-8+ years of experience in

designing, implementing, and managing large-scale environmental, sustainability, or CSR programs

.
Strong proficiency in

project management frameworks

, including logical frameworks, stakeholder mapping, needs/baseline assessments, and monitoring & evaluation (M&E).
Proven track record in

community engagement, stakeholder mobilization, and partnership building

.
Excellent communication skills in

English and Hindi

; proficiency in

Marathi

is an added advantage.
Ability to

lead multidisciplinary teams

and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Willingness to

travel across India

to support project implementation and stakeholder engagement.
