Role Overview

Nestcon is seeking an experienced and highly motivated

Project Manager

to lead and deliver high-quality construction projects. In this role, you will take full ownership of project planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout; ensuring projects are delivered

safely, on time, within budget, and to Nestcon's quality standards

.

You will collaborate closely with internal teams, clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders while fostering a culture of

accountability, transparency, teamwork, and continuous improvement

.

Key Objectives of the Role

Plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of construction projects, from initiation through closeout, in alignment with Nestcon's commitment to excellence and client satisfaction. Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders while ensuring alignment with client requirements and organizational goals. Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to ensure cost efficiency and timely project delivery. Maintain strong working relationships with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution and adherence to specifications. Uphold Nestcon's

safety-first culture

by ensuring compliance with all safety standards, regulatory requirements, and local building codes. Promote sustainable construction practices and support green building initiatives where applicable.

Key Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, risk mitigation strategies, and procurement plans. Coordinate and oversee all construction activities, ensuring adherence to approved schedules, drawings, and specifications. Lead procurement processes, including bid evaluation, contractor and vendor selection, contract negotiations, and change order management. Monitor project progress, track KPIs, and provide accurate and timely status reports to stakeholders. Conduct regular site inspections to assess quality, safety, progress, and compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements. Manage project budgets, cost control measures, and financial reporting to ensure adherence to approved budgets. Ensure all project documentation--including contracts, permits, drawings, and approvals--is properly managed and maintained. Facilitate regular project meetings to address challenges, align teams, and drive collaborative problem-solving. Identify risks proactively and implement corrective and preventive actions to minimize project disruptions. Provide strong leadership, mentoring, and guidance to project teams, fostering a high-performance and collaborative work environment aligned with Nestcon values.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a Masters in Construction Management) or a related discipline from a reputed institution like NICMAR (Desirable. Minimum

12+ years of experience

in project management, with proven successfully handling and delivering projects on time and within budget. Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and safety regulations within the Indian construction landscape. Excellent planning, organizational, and prioritization skills. Ability to train on-site staff to better their proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in construction management software, project scheduling tools, and cost estimation systems. Awareness of sustainable construction practices and green building standards.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Professional certifications such as

PMP, LEED

, or equivalent. Experience managing large-scale or complex construction projects. Strong understanding of risk management, contract administration, and claims management. Proficiency in

Building Information Modelling (BIM) & ERP

tools. Knowledge of lean construction principles and modern project delivery methodologies. Strong financial acumen with hands-on experience in budgeting and cost control.

Pay: ?100,000.00 - ?120,000.00 per month
