Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Execution:
Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial building construction projects from inception to completion. Knowledge of composite structures will be preferred.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Team Leadership:
Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary team of project managers, engineers, contractors, and site staff.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Stakeholder Management:
Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and government authorities to ensure smooth project execution.
Address client concerns and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
Quality & Safety Compliance:
Ensure all construction activities comply with quality standards, safety regulations, and legal requirements.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality and safety adherence.
Budget & Cost Control:
Oversee project budgets, cost estimates, and financial reporting.
Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
Resource Management:
Optimize the utilization of manpower, materials, and equipment.
Ensure timely procurement of materials and resources.
Reporting & Documentation:
Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, drawings, and approvals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
Minimum
15-20 years
of experience in construction management, with at least
10 years
in a leadership role overseeing commercial building projects.
Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, codes, and regulations.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
